Heinz Field Ornament
Officially opened on August 11, 2001, Heinz Field is a horseshoe shaped venue that allows the crowds to view the incredibly beautiful Pittsburgh skyline, all while enjoying a rousing Steelers game. In terms of its size, the stadium is able to hold a little over 64,000 people in its two-tier frame and stretches nearly 2.2 acres on natural bluegrass. Although it holds quite a large number of fans, Heinz Field is highly intimate, as the field is just 60 feet away from the first set of sidelines seats and 25 feet away from the first set of end zone seats. Interestingly enough, the Pittsburgh weather is no match for this field as there are heaters that keep the bluegrass a toasty 62 degrees– making sure snow and rain don’t interfere with the game.
