Trinity Pre-K Program
Our early childhood programs practice a continuity of care philosophy where teachers stay with groups of children for multiple years.
Our Reggio-inspired preschool programs are a two-year, multi-age program where children stay with the same teaching team for their preschool and prekindergarten years. Our multi-age Montessori 3-6 program keeps children with the same teaching team for a three-year cycle that includes preschool, prekindergarten, and kindergarten. These unique programs follow the lead of the child and recognize each child as an individual in a community of learners.
Academic learning is woven throughout the curriculum that supports each area of child development. Teachers trained in each philosophy guide student learning and support them as they build relationships with peers. Research has shown that children thrive when they develop secure, long-lasting relationships with a small number of adults. We know this relationship building takes time to develop, so our early childhood programs are designed to allow children to build these relationships over a multi-year period. Teachers gain a deeper knowledge of each individual child and are able to provide each child with the learning and support they need to help them thrive. Our model also strengthens the family-teacher partnership by recognizing the integral role by families and teachers play in young children’s lives.
